ORGANIC AGRICULTURE An organic wine is a wine made from organically grown grapes. Its method of production is based on a respect for nature and the environment. Organic agriculture specifications demand much more restrictive methods than that of conventional viticulture. The use of chemical fertilizer, pesticides and herbicides is forbidden and regular tillage of the land is required.
